I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Oklahoma. I work with livebearing fishes to answer questions related to sexual selection and ecology. Currently, I am focused on understanding the evolution of mate preferences in Limia, a group of livebearing fishes endemic to the Caribbean. I also work with sailfin mollies (Poecilia latipinna) to understand how perceived status influences pre/post-copulatory mate preferences.
Thank you for your interest in my research. Please get in touch with me, if you have additional questions, are an undergraduate looking for research experience, or would like to collaborate.
