I am a Ph.D. candidate working with Dr. Ingo Schlupp at the University of Oklahoma. I am interested in how and why mating preferences evolve under various social and ecological contexts. In addition to my research, I instruct Introductory Biology labs at OU. I am also active in a number of student organizations focused on promoting diversity and inclusion in higher education. After I complete my dissertation, I would like to pursue a career in science policy, communication, or consulting.

Zeeshawn is a junior. He currently is majoring in biochemistry. He is currently developing his research interests. He plans to attend medical school when he graduates.
