Biology Graduate Student Association
I serve as Vice President of OU Biology's Graduate Student Association. I help organize events that promote the scholarly excellence of my fellow graduate students.
STEM Inclusion Council!
I serve on the STEM Inclusion Council's executive committee. In this interdepartmental organization, we aim to foster a community of support for underrepresented and international graduate students in STEM.
University of Oklahoma Biology Department's Diversity Inclusion and Equity Committee
I currently serve as Co-Chair on the OU Biology Department's DIEC. I work with the administration to develop strategies that we can employ to make a more equitable and diverse department.
I have developed a question-based teaching style to facilitate student learning. Presently, I teach BIOL 1134: Ecology, Evolution, and Diversity. I have also taught BIOL 1124: Introduction to Zoology and BIOL 1005: Concepts of Biology. I also mentor undergraduate researchers within the Schlupp Lab
Animal Behavior Society Twitter Team
I am responsible for managing the Animal Behavior society's Twitter account. I share the most recent research articles and trends in the animal behavior community.
